How markets resolve
- Numbers come straight from the official YouTube API, checked about every minute โ never typed in by hand.
- YouTube reports public counts rounded to 3 significant figures (2,563 likes shows as 2,560) โ markets settle on those rounded numbers.
- Hit the target before the deadline โ resolves YES instantly, no waiting for close.
- Deadline passes without the target โ resolves NO.
- Live-stream markets: if the stream ends below the target, trading freezes right there and the market settles NO.
Trading rules
- Every market trades YES and NO shares โ the price (0โ100%) is the market's live probability.
- Prices move with every trade (automated market maker). Early, contrarian calls buy cheap.
- 2% fee on buys, none on sells. Sell any time before resolution to lock a profit or cut a loss.
- After resolution every winning share pays out 1 YOUTOO; losing shares pay 0.
